The Disappearance of Shannon McClure

23 year old Shannon McClure was last seen in Sheridan, Wyoming on June 15, 2013. She disappeared after being dropped off at the WalMart in town around 3:00 am.

Disappearance

Around 3:00 am on June 15, 2013, Shannon McClure was dropped off at the WalMart in Sheridan, Wyoming by her husband.

According to her husband and father-in-law, she asked to be dropped off so she could stay with her sister, Jennifer. According to law enforcement, her sister wasn’t expecting her because “it was an abrupt decision.”

Shannon’s family reported her missing on June 17, 2013.

According to loved ones, it’s uncharacteristic of Shannon to leave without warning or to be out of contact with family. She leaves behind three stepdaughters and a 14 month old son.

Investigation

Detectives reviewed surveillance video from WalMart on the night of Shannon’s disappearance, but were unable to determine if she ever arrived.  

Authorities don’t believe Shannon had access to any credit cards when she went missing, and that if she had any money it was a small amount.

Appearance

White female with brown hair and blue eyes. Shannon stands 5’3-5’4 tall and weighs 230 pounds. Her ears are pierced.

Clothing & Accessories:
Shannon was last seen wearing a navy pullover hoodie with “2008” on the front, dark colored sweat pants, white tennis shoes, and glasses.
