Disappearance
On April 12, 2012, Brenda Wallace was last seen at her home in Martinsville, Indiana. She left a note behind at home, stating she had gone to Ohio to live and work.
She indicated she would send a truck back when she could, and that family members could do as they as they wish with her belongings.
Brenda left with a red backpack, blue backpack, floral print luggage, and her dog, a female Shih Tzu named Nicky. She hasn’t had any contact with friends or family since.
She did not have a cell phone or bank account at the time of her disappearance. It’s unclear who, if anyone, drove Brenda to Ohio, as she was carrying too much stuff to have walked.

White female with gray hair and brown eyes. Brenda stands 5’5 tall and weighs 160-175 pounds.
